Like other browsers, Internet Explorer also uses default Windows proxy settings. Let’s see the steps.
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Click on the Tools icon displayed in the upper right corner.
- Select Internet options from the menu. It opens a dialog box.
- In the dialog box, click the Connections tab.
- Click on LAN settings button.
- Under the Proxy Server tab, check Use a proxy server for your LAN as shown below.
- Provide the address and port of the proxy server you want to use. In our case, we provide the address 91.132.139.178 whose port is 3128. You can choose another one.
- Click on the OK button button to save the settings.
