How to play fortnite
- Click fortnite.com to download and install Fortnite.
- Open Fortnite.
- Sign in (Make sure you’ve set up an account).
- Select BATTLE ROYALE.
- You may find Battle Royale a bit daunting to begin with, and you can first familiarize yourself with its settings — Click the 3 lines on the top right, then select the cog icon to open the settings menu.
- Click the Input icon to view keys for actions. You can also reset the keys according to your preferences. Then keep in mind the keys.
- Back in the main screen, select the game mode through the button on the lower left.
- Select a mode, then click ACCEPT.
- Click the PLAY button to begin.
- You’ll find yourself in the holding area calld Spawn Island. During this 60-second period, you can practice using your pickaxe, picking up weapons, ammunition and building materials, but you can’t bring anything with you into the game.
- When the game fills up with 99 other players, you’ll automatically be on the Battle Bus. It flies in the air and transports you across the game’s map. It’ll let you know when you can jump down into the game.
- Once on the ground, keep an eye for chests, which contain weapons you’ll need, as well as ammunition and medical supplies like first aid kits, bandages, and shield potions.
- Meanwhile, use your pickaxe (the only weapon that you start out with) on any structures that you see (trees, houses, rocks, etc.) It’s an essential way to collect building materials. Since building materials don’t take up space in your backpack, you can grab as much as you like.
- After a few minutes of playing, an indicator will show up to let you know that the storm is getting smaller. You can press M to bring up your map and find a safe area, which is everything inside the circle. You can go through the storm, but it will hurt your health and possibly put you out of the game.
- If you get kicked out, you can watch the game from the point of view of the person who kicked you out, or you can just quit and start over. If you do the first one, you might find out what makes a good player.
What is Fortnite?
Epic Games made the online video game Fortnite, which has two ways to play. Fortnite: Save the World is the first. It is a player-versus-environment (PvE) campaign that costs money. Up to four players work together to protect survivors from the storm and things that look like zombies.
Players can get closer to their goal by doing missions that give them rewards. Fortnite Battle Royale is the second. It is a player-vs-player (PvP) game that is free to play. Up to 100 players try to be the last person or group alive by killing or avoiding other players. They can play alone, in pairs, or in teams.
They fight in a safe zone that is getting smaller and smaller. A Victory Royale is given to the last player or group still in the game. Even though both games have been popular, everyone is really into the free game Fortnite Battle Royale. In the next parts, you’ll find out more about it.
