Introduction
The 1More Stylish True Wireless headset ($100) had a difficult start. Introduced last year with one of the worst battery life statistics (2.5 hours per charge), the same product was announced four months later, with the same name, the same design and the same price, but with a new chipset and an improved life. Most products do not undergo such a radical upgrade in less than a year, let alone four months after their initial launch. We, therefore, approached these statements with some skepticism.
Fortunately, the battery life is undoubtedly better than 2.5 hours, and the headphones offer the audiophile experience with a budget that has made the reputation of 1More, with relatively accurate bass depth and detailed and detailed highs. Anyone who appreciates bass and gives priority to comfort and battery life before audio quality. This does not mean that 1More Stylish headphones do not sound right; However, the audio reproduction is not as bright as that of Creative Outlier Air, another set of serious earphones.
Design & Build Quality
The headphones are at the height of their stylish name and are among The Best wireless headphones on the market. They look elegant and a relatively low profile, unlike the competition, which is much larger. The quality of the construction is excellent, which you expect, of course, given the quality of the structure of the EMI modules to three and four drivers.
The case is made of metal, and it feels like it will stand up well with time. After completing our review process, the headphones always look as good as they have been. The carrying case is also of excellent quality. It looks cool and gives you a place to keep your headphones when you’re not using it, and it’s, of course, a charger. The pebble ear cups are as slippery as they are elegant. After some of trial and error, I started to hold them by the silicone hooks. A music and call control button is placed on the back of each headset. This is strange: there is no mention of virtual access to the assistants in the manual or on the official product page.
After being spoiled by Google Assistant headphones, it’s evident that the products do not have the necessary support for virtual assistants. An LDS antenna rests laterally in each case. It is supposed to improve the stability of the connection by mitigating signal interference. However, the use has resulted in frequent jumps and connectivity jumps in the 10-meter connectivity range. Often, when I was listening to my Samsung Galaxy S10 and my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 within a meter of the headsets, hiccups were as frequent as a few times per song.
Performance
If you can get a perfect seal, the stylish 1MORE Stylish True Wireless sound is excellent. With a good seal, the background noise of the headphones is almost silent, meaning that there is no audible whistling when no music is playing. The treble extends without harshness; the bass is tight and percussion without being intrusive.
Mediums are slightly behind but offer an excellent resolution. The sound stage is suitable for the ears but is not spectacular. In terms of wireless performance, we have been frustrated by some audio dropouts in a busy urban environment. The headphones stuttered while walking in the city center but never stuttered inside the doors where there was less wireless interference. This does not mean that the reading inside is flawless – in terms of latency when watching a video, there is a very slight delay, but only if you look for it.
Battery
By subjecting the earpieces to a constant output of 75 dB, they offer 5.28 hours of playback. Although shorter than the one advertised, 1More reports on its website that the battery life of 7.5 hours comes from a 50% output volume. This sound is quieter than 75dB. As a result, if you listen to more modest amounts, you will probably go to the seven o’clock mark.
A 410 mAh charging case takes just over an hour to complete a full charge cycle, coincidentally corresponding to the same time required to charge the 55 mAh headset batteries fully. Unfortunately, 1More has installed a micro USB input, rather than USB-C, on the charging box. While this is a disappointment, it contributes to prices under $100.
Conclusion
Visually and functionally, the 1More Stylish True Wireless headset may not be remarkable, but it’s at least harmless: it stays in place and performs its task of in-ear controls. And the drivers offer a clean, bright and balanced antidote to correct bass-rich wireless options. In other words, the True True Wireless Headset sounds reasonably priced. Backed by their $100 price tag, these headphones are a good deal if you use them mainly indoors and do not mind working a little harder than you should have found.
