Blink Video Doorbell: Design
The Blink Video Doorbell is a 130mm-tall device that is pretty small. The 42 x 34mm width and depth make it bigger than a traditional doorbell or the Ring Video Doorbell Wired, but this is so it can fit the camera, microphone and speaker (so you can hear and talk to the person at the door), Wi-Fi antenna, and battery compartment, which holds two AA cells that Blink says will last for two years before they need to be replaced. That’s a pretty great claim, but in fact, how long they last will depend on how much is going on in front of the lens.

The Blink Video Doorbell is a good product, even if you don’t consider the price. It looks and feels better than many more expensive options, and it fits in better with most home styles. You can get it in black or white. We think the Sync Module is important, and even getting a Blink Mini at the same time costs less than Ring’s standard doorbell.
