Bluesound was an early pioneer in the field of “wireless high-resolution audio,” and the company’s products are (usually speaking) never inferior to those of its competitors in terms of sound quality. However, they haven’t always been the most affordable option or the most decorative option, which has contributed to a certain degree of a reduction in their appeal.
The Pulse M is the solution that will address the latter problem while also remaining faithful to the high-end audio core that it was designed upon. However, Bluesound is getting into a market that is already saturated with products that have already established themselves as having respectable reputations.

Bluesound Pulse M: Design

Yes, the Pulse M is a pretty standard-sized speaker, but there are still a few very big numbers connected. For example, 80 watts of power is nothing to sneeze at. A 133mm mid/bass driver is also pretty big. It faces up behind an acoustic lens that helps spread its sound as far and wide as possible, and it uses 50 of those Class D watts. The other 30 is split between two 19mm tweeters that are 45 degrees apart from each other. This is another way to spread the sound as far as possible. This is what Bluesound calls a “omni-hybrid” design. You can buy this speaker from its official website
Bluesound Pulse M: Features

The BluOS app from Bluesound is at the heart of the Pulse M. It’s the thing that makes this portable speaker do almost everything it can. It’s not a “smart” speaker in and of itself, but BluOS’s “Works with” Alexa and Google feature lets you handle it without using your hands.
Voice control can also be added with Siri for iOS users.Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 (aptX-HD), Spotify link, Tidal Connect, Roon Ready, and AirPlay 2 are all ways to link wirelessly. Some people might be surprised that this device doesn’t have Chromecast, but given that it doesn’t support MQA, it might not be too surprising. The BluOS technology is made to work with MQA.
Sound quality
The speaker has a driver design called “Omni-Hybrid,” which is supposed to provide 360-degree high-fidelity sound. In our tests, it did exactly that, as long as you don’t mind a bit of high-frequency roll-off from the back. But the speaker’s industrial design and usability are almost as impressive as its sound quality. Its capacitive touch controls, which don’t show up until your hand is close to the top of the speaker, are especially impressive.
Final Words
The Pulse M is an improvement on both the style and sound of Bluesound’s past wireless speakers. It has rich sound and a wide range of features. A portable speaker that looks good and works well.

There is no ON/OFF switch on a Bluesound Player. We put the ease of use of Bluesound Players at the top of our list when we made them. This means that the Players are always ready to stream music when you make a choice in the BluOS Controller app.
When you use Force Hotspot Mode, your device is taken off the network and its current saved wifi settings are deleted.
