Dell UltraSharp U3423WE: In use
The mouse, keyboard, and video output can all be changed at the same time by pressing a single button. The built-in RJ45 Ethernet port is interesting because it locks to a single computer, keeping the connection open no matter which computer is running on screen. With this aspect ratio and resolution, we love how much horizontal space we have on the screen to work with material.
This screen can fit three or four web pages side by side without making us feel too crowded. When we are researching and writing, having multiple windows is very helpful. We can write in one window, keep our notes in another, and still have plenty of room for release notes and other things. You can buy this moj=nitor from its official website
Dell UltraSharp U3423WE: Display and Performance
The Dell UltraSharp U3423WE has a 3440 x 1440 resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, and a 5ms response time on its 34-inch 1900r IPS curved screen. As with all IPS Black panels on the market, the maximum backlight is 300 cd/m2 and the contrast is stated as 2000:1. This model doesn’t promote HDR, but it does emphasize wide range coverage and accuracy.
The extra horizontal room on 1440p ultrawides is great for getting work done and running a business. You can line up multiple apps at once and enjoy the extra sharpness and clarity compared to a normal 1080p display. It won’t be as clear as a 4K screen, but that’s a small price to pay for a wider field of view.
Final Words
The pricing and the position of the cable passthrough on the stand are the only two drawbacks that we found during our testing of the Dell UltraSharp U3423WE, which is otherwise an excellent screen. In addition to that, it functioned admirably as a monitor for corporate applications, allowing for increased efficiency as well as enhanced opportunities for pleasure.
