The Epos H3 Hybrid is a great choice for anyone who wants a headset that sounds great and can be used with almost any device. The fact that you can use it both wired and wirelessly gives you a level of freedom that helps make up for the slightly higher price than we were expecting. The Epos H3 Hybrid has great sound, but the high-end frequencies are a little sharp, and when a 3.5 mm cable is plugged in, you can hear a hiss.
Also, since the headset only turns off when it’s not connected to a Bluetooth device, it’s easy to run out of power if you forget to turn it off. Still, the Epos H3 Hybrid is very comfortable to wear, gives you a lot of options, and has a great sound that most users will like. We would wait until it goes on sale, though, before buying it.

Epos H3 Hybrid review: Design and Comfort
The Epos H3 Hybrid improves on the original Epos H3 by adding both a wired digital USB 3 connection and a wireless Bluetooth connection, while keeping the 3.5mm connector. With a weight of 0.65 pounds and a padded headband, the headset is very comfortable to wear for long periods of time.
It has just the right amount of clamping force to keep the headphones from moving around without putting too much pressure on my head. The outside of the earcups are made of leather, and the part that touches your ears is made of cloth. This combination does a great job of keeping them from getting as hot as leather-covered earcups can after long use while blocking out more sound than fully cloth-covered earcups. You can buy this headphone from its official website.
Epos H3 Hybrid review: Sound quality
The Epos H3 Hybrid has the same great sound quality that we’ve come to expect from all of Epos’ gaming headsets. You can expect sound that is very clear and full of detail. This means that you can hear all the small details that other headsets tend to blur.
The mids and lows are also well-balanced, so you’ll still hear the satisfying thumps that come with explosions and gunfire in games like Halo Infinite. We didn’t like how bright the Epos H3 Hybrid was, which was a shame.
Epos H3 Hybrid review: Connection
The Epos H3 Hybrid tries to do a little bit of everything. It has a Bluetooth connection for phones and the Nintendo Switch, a wired USB connection for the computer, and a 3.5mm connection for the PlayStation and Xbox. Overall, the audio quality is pretty good, at least for stereo content. This shows that Epos has kept up its good work in this area since it stopped working with Sennheiser. But its microphone isn’t very good, and the 7.1-channel surround sound on PC, which is controlled by an app, isn’t very good.
Epos H3 Hybrid review: Battery
We believe EPOS when they say that the H3 Hybrid’s battery can last 37 hours with Bluetooth. Almost never, the H3 Hybrid needs to be charged. Even when the voice tells you that you only have 20% left, it’s more than enough to finish a long game. If you leave it plugged in overnight, you can play on your PC for a solid week, though the exact amount of time depends on the connection.
Epos H3 Hybrid review: Price and availability
The price is really what makes or breaks the headset, and $279 for a gaming headset is not a small amount of money to save. Because it can do so much, you could say that this is more than one headset for the price. This headset works well with every other piece of equipment I’ve tried it with. As an all-in-one solution that does a great job on any task I give it, the price is a little easier to take.
Final Words
The Epos H3 Hybrid has a lot of things we like about it. Both the USB and 3.5mm connections for gaming sound are great, and we don’t miss the overemphasised bass of other gaming headsets, which might sound cool but can be distracting when things are happening fast.
The music is a little less impressive right out of the box, but nothing that can’t be fixed with a little tweaking of the EQ. Because it has so many ways to connect, we can use it with all of my gaming devices.

FAQs
Is EPOS headsets a good brand?
If you have a lot of money to spend, the EPOS H3PRO Hybrid is one of the best gaming headsets you can buy. The dongle connection and battery life are a little short, which is a bit of a bummer, but it’s easy to overlook when the rest of the package is so good.
Is the epos H3 hybrid wireless?
With the EPOS Gaming Suite for PC, you can turn on 7.1 Surround Sound and change the sound in any way you want. Because the H3PRO Hybrid is so comfortable, we can use it for hours to practise, compete, and stream. It’s the best wireless headset out there. With the low-latency dongle, there is no lag in the connection.
Is EPOS made by Sennheiser?
EPOS is not a new company in the industry. From 2003 to 2020, we were known as Sennheiser Communications, a joint venture between the audio company Sennheiser and Demant, the world’s largest hearing healthcare group.
