Apple is to blame for the sudden surge of interest in Bluetooth headsets. In 2016, the iPhone 7 didn’t have a headphone port. Since then, most vendors have done the same, making the 3.5mm audio connector a rare thing that only purists and audiophiles care about.
The Evolve2 65 is a new Bluetooth headset from Jabra. It is aimed straight at a business audience that wants both quality and subtlety. This new model costs a lot, much like its predecessor, the Evolve 65. Note that you may get it now in the US, where Amazon doesn’t even have it listed. (at the time of writing).

Jabra Evolve2 65 review: Design

Jabra says it uses high-quality materials that are designed to make long listening sessions as pleasant as possible, yet we find it uncomfortable after just an hour. The headset puts a lot of pressure on your ears because of how it fits over your ears and how heavy it is. Even yet, it’s easy to shake the headset loose. Just turning your head to face the ground might make it go forward or even fall. You can buy this headphone from its official website
Jabra Evolve2 65 review: Performance
The general sound quality will depend on a lot of things, but in our (very personal) opinion, the Evolve2 65 did a good job. It was fun to talk over the microphone, and even though there is no ANC, the passive noise suppression worked well.
The sound quality of songs, podcasts, and discussions was generally very good. Even though we only used it for a few hours, there were no glitches, lags, or blips in the sound. Take note that it works with Microsoft’s Open Office.
Jabra Evolve2 65 review: Connectivity And Audio Quality

The Jabra Link 380 bluetooth adapter that came with the phone has an effective range of 30 meters. This seems to be true, as we often wander about the office while on a call and it has never slowed down or cut out. The adapter is plug-and-play, so no software is needed. However, you can install Jabra Direct or Jabra Sound+ software if you want to upgrade the firmware, change the sound settings, remap the button controls, and more.

Jabra Evolve2 65 review: Battery Life
The 37 hours of battery life that are advertised don’t say if this is call time, listening time, or standby time, so it’s probable that the actual battery life you get depends depend on how you use your phone. The Evolve2 65 sits in an L-shaped desk stand that looks nice and charges the battery. Until you get the hang of it, it’s not easy to put the Evolve2 in its stand the right way.
Jabra Evolve2 65 review: Pricing
The Jabra Evolve2 65 headset isn’t cheap, but it’s worth the money just for how clear the mic is and how comfortable it is to use. When you add in the great stereo sound, there’s a lot to enjoy about this. We also like the Plantronics Voyager 4220 UC, which costs $220, the Sennheiser Presence UC ML, which costs $200, and the BlueParrott B550-XT Bluetooth, which costs $200 and is a mono headset that focuses on mic quality in noisy circumstances.
Final Words
The Jabra Evolve2 65 is great at everything it does. You get a headset that is pleasant to wear and has superb call and sound quality. Yes, it is rather expensive, but if your business needs the best headset for extended conversations and meetings, this is a strong option and should be on your shortlist.
