Joplin review: powerful and versatile note-taking app

From my own experience, I know that note-taking apps don’t need to be too hard to use to be very helpful. This is very clear in the case of Joplin. This open-source app is basically a place to write down notes and order them. It’s even more impressive that it’s free and lets you save your notes on your computer automatically. In other words, the notes you make in Joplin are yours to keep, just like if you wrote them down in a notebook.

Up until recently, the lack of tools for working together was a problem. Joplin has fixed this problem, though, by letting anyone share a notebook, even if they are willing to pay. Interestingly, this improvement doesn’t make the free version less good. With this new feature, Joplin has solidified its place as the best free notebook app out there.

What Is Joplin?

I’ve been taking most of my notes on Joplin, an app that was created by Laurent Cozic in 2017, and it’s been really great. Getting Started With Joplin

A great thing about Joplin that I love is how simple it is to begin using it. You don’t have to make an account; you can just download it and start playing. The desktop layout is nicely set up with three panels. There is a list of notebooks and tags on the left. There is a list of notes in the currently chosen notebook in the center panel, and the details of the note you’re working on can be seen on the right.

I really like how flexible Joplin is. You can make as many notes as you want and arrange them in a hierarchy, which is great for keeping things organized. You can also add emojis or your own pictures to your notes to make them stand out.

My observations have led me to the conclusion that Joplin is an outstanding option for the coordination of group efforts. Their collaborative strategies provide both flexibility and ease of implementation while working with others. You are able to easily manage several members of the team, cooperate successfully on projects, share notes with one another, and jointly handle invoicing responsibilities.
