Their companion app has a graphic EQ and presets that let you change the bass-heavy sound to your liking. They also have an active noise canceling (ANC) system that helps block out unwanted noise. But their ANC isn’t very good overall, and it’s hard for them to block out low-frequency sounds like bus engines.

Klipsch T5 II ANC review: Design

The Klipsch T5 II True Wireless ANC works a lot like other true wireless earbuds and has a kind of retro-futuristic appearance. From the big case to the big, brightly lit earbuds, this headset combines the comfort of true wireless technology with the romanticized design of old Klipsch logo models. On the other hand, the big red or blue lights on each bud remind me of the movie Tron and the synths of the 1980s. We like it, but the design style seems kind of mixed up. You can buy this earbuds from its official website
Klipsch T5 II ANC review: Features
You’ll need to download Klipsch Connect to use most of the T5 II ANC abilities. Even people who don’t like technology will want it just so they can get firmware changes. On some smartphones, Klipsch makes it almost impossible not to get the app. On a Huawei P30, it works without the app, but on a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G, the buds won’t finish pairing until you also set up the app. The app lets you change a lot of things. For example, you can check off choices like “Activate ANC” when you listen to music or talk on the phone.
Klipsch T5 II ANC review: Sound quality

The T5 II earbuds have great sound quality, and so far, they’re the only pair of wireless earbuds I’ve found that don’t feel like they’re cutting corners. There is a great mix across the whole frequency range, the highs and mids are clear, and the sound stage is pretty good.
The only small flaw we could find was that as the volume goes up, the mids seem to drop off a bit early, which suggests that the drivers may be reaching their limit. Unfortunately, sound quality isn’t the only thing to look at, and in most of the other areas, the picture isn’t very good. First of all, the Klipsch T5 II doesn’t have a lot of the features you’d expect from a high-end pair of headphones.
Klipsch T5 II ANC review: Connectivity
As for connectivity, the T5 II ANC has Bluetooth 5.0, which isn’t the latest standard. The WF-1000XM4 has Bluetooth 5.2, and the QuietComfort Earbuds have Bluetooth 5.1. In the real world, the differences between these technologies don’t have much of an effect yet, but we always like to see the newest standard used to make goods more future-proof.
The Klipsch buds work with SBC and AAC codecs. Neither is particularly high-resolution, but both can handle 320Kbps streams, which is more than enough for most people who use streaming services or MP3s on their devices.
Klipsch T5 II ANC review: Noise cancellation and transparency
Even though there’s nothing inherently wrong with the sound, it’s hard to recommend them at £299 when the key extra, active noise cancellation, isn’t the best in its class. They also don’t have the sensors that let the buds know if they’re in your ear or not. This means that if you leave them sitting around with ANC on, almost all of the battery will be used up.
Klipsch T5 II ANC review: Battery Life
Klipsch says that the T5 II ANC can be used for five hours on a single charge in the earbuds and 15 hours more in the charging case if ANC is turned on. If you turn off ANC and transparency mode, those numbers go up to 7 and 21 hours, respectively. I think these numbers are too hopeful based on what I can see. The earbuds were completely dead after only four hours of listening with ANC turned on and the volume set to 50%.
Klipsch T5 II ANC review: Price and release date
The Klipsch T5 II True Wireless ANC costs about $300 USD (though you can find it for less), which is more than most people can afford. Try the Klipsch T5 II for $125 at Amazon if you like everything else about the T5 II ANC but don’t need noise cancellation. There are times when you can get it for about half the price. It has a better aptX codec, and we haven’t had a chance to test it yet, but the shape of the case looks the same, so it’s likely that the isolation works very well.
Final Words
Even though the Klipsch have great sound quality, a high-end design, good noise reduction, and some unique features, they aren’t as good all around as Sony’s WF-1000XM4, and the extra cost is harder to explain. There aren’t many options if you want earbuds that you can control in part by moving your head.

FAQS
When the earbuds start to charge properly, a red LED will light up on each one. After about 30 to 60 seconds of sitting in the case, this light will turn off, but the buds will still be charging. If the buds are completely empty, it should take about 2 hours to fully charge them.
Klipsch T5 II True Wireless Bluetooth 5.0 Earphones in Silver have a Transparency Mode, Beamforming Mics, the Best Fitting Ear Tips, and 32 hours of battery life in a slim charging case.
