Having tried out a number of different project management software choices, it’s really encouraging to see that more and more attention is being paid to making the user experience better rather than giving them a huge number of features. It’s important to keep your project management tool from becoming a difficult task in and of itself. From my own experience, I can say that TeamGantt is very easy to use and learn, which makes it a great choice for teams of all skill levels.
It’s important to note, though, that TeamGantt’s price levels are on the high side, which could be a problem. If these higher prices weren’t an issue, I would highly suggest TeamGantt to teams of all sizes and in every industry. TeamGantt is an essential tool for simplified management and tracking, whether you’re working on multiple projects at once or coordinating a group of people to complete a single job.
If you want to get the most out of all of TeamGantt’s features, you’ll have to skip the free plan and choose one of their paid plans. Still, the tool does a great job meeting a lot of different team needs, as long as you’re not mostly interested in the financial tracking and management features. Overall, TeamGantt is a strong option for diverse teams and projects, and its user-friendly interface and features make it even better.

What Is TeamGantt?

TeamGantt is an intuitive piece of software for managing projects that has an emphasis on Gantt charts and includes a variety of sophisticated features. In 2009, the company was established with the purpose of making it simpler to view both the big picture and the finer details of a project, rather than focusing just on one or the other. It is adaptable enough to be used by any team, regardless of whether they prefer board views, list views, or Gantt views.
TeamGantt review: Customer Service and Support
TeamGantt does not have a phone support option, but their live chat help is not limited to bots only. When we contacted out with a question, we were told that a response from a support agent would take an estimated 10 minutes; yet, it only took four minutes for someone to address our issue. The representative was helpful and provided an answer that was both insightful and did not appear to be scripted. In the same amount of time, we also addressed the subsequent question.
TeamGantt review: Ease of use

Learning and using TeamGantt is simple. The top task management elements and left project/reporting navigation are indicated. If Podio is a customized Android phone, TeamGantt is more iPhone-like: Everything in this tool is pre-built; just add your information and start. Few customizing options are fine. Team Gantt is great for users that seek plug-and-play templates and reports. First, you get project updates by scoring how many tasks are “ok,” “overdue,” and “behind.” The second report shows each team member’s workload and color classifies their days by task count.
The graphic above shows that increasing numbers move the block’s color toward red, signifying overload. These reports have few parameters, which limits capability but improves usability, especially for beginners. Most TeamGantt functions seem designed for novice project management software users. Each function is simplified. Each list has a “new task” button for project tasks. To edit tasks, right-click and edit.
TeamGantt review: Setup and Customization
The process of getting started with TeamGantt is very comparable to that of the vast majority of other software as a service: Please include your full name, email address, and a password of your choosing. If you choose for the free plan, you can get started right away, but you will only have access to a subset of the features and perspectives. Even if you simply intend to use the trial version of the free plan, you are required to enter your payment information if you choose to subscribe to one of the paid plans.
Select a default view and a template that are tailored to your requirements. The way in which you respond to a few questions throughout the setup process, such as those about your industry and previous knowledge with Gantt charts, will determine whether or not you will be shown a movie that assists in explaining how to use this method of project management.
When you arrive to the page for your project, you could see a sidebar with films that assist walk you through the various activities you can do on a Gantt chart, such as how to build task dependencies or baselines. If you click on this sidebar, you’ll be sent to the first video in the series.
Final Words
I have used TeamGantt for project management and found it easy to use. TeamGantt’s project templates make it easy to start a project, whether you’re a seasoned project manager or just starting out. As with any tool, TeamGantt might be improved. Some Kanban-style board options may be unusual or inflexible. If your organization provides client-based services, it may lack essential characteristics that make it less suitable for your purposes.
However, TeamGantt excels at waterfall project management. Its comprehensive capabilities and intuitive UI appeal to individuals who like this tried-and-true project management approach. Based on our personal experience, it’s a great solution for waterfall projects, but it may not be right for every organization.

TeamGantt’s primary strength is in its Gantt chart functionality, although the program is versatile enough to be used well for managing a wide variety of projects. Task cards and charts make it easy to keep tabs on everyone’s progress, visualize team responsibilities, and share your work with others.
