At the time of this writing, the TP-Link Archer AX73 is one of the newest WiFi 6 models made by a Chinese company. Along with Asus and Netgear, the Chinese company seems to be in a race to make as many routers as possible and flood the market with them. Even though there are a lot of devices to choose from, it’s easy to get confused when more than one model of the AX1800 is made by the same company.
The Archer AX73 seems to be in the same class as the RT-AX82U, which has proven to be a pretty reliable router and is my personal favorite. Both routers share the same SoC and WiFi chips, but the software and user experience are at least as important as the hardware. And one thing that TP-Link did that caught my eye was adding the Home Shield package to the AX73 while leaving out the HomeCare package.

TP-Link Archer AXE75 review: Design
Rarely will you find a TP-Link router with a simple design, and the AX73 is one of those devices for which the company made every suggestion from the design team. And the result is a little strange, but still kind of interesting. So, the TP-Link AX73 has a rectangular plastic case with a black matte finish, except for a large piece of glossy black plastic at the top.
This piece breaks up the unique pattern that covers almost all of the upper part of the router. The pattern looks like braided fabric, and there are several holes in it to let air flow through. You can buy this router from its official website.
TP-Link Archer AXE75 review: Performance
This means that until things get better, we’re still working from home. Having a fast and reliable WiFi connection is important for getting work done. So, this brings us to the new TP-Link Archer AX73, a high-performance AX5400 wireless router that is now available in Malaysia.
The Archer AX73 is a WiFi 6 router that works well. With a dual-band configuration, it can support WiFi speeds of up to 5400Mbps. In fact, the router had a 160Mhz mode, which means that the 5Ghz WiFi network can be very fast if you have a WiFi adapter that supports 160Mhz.
TP-Link Archer AXE75 review: Connection
The last button, “Tools,” lets you set up your wireless network, guest network, and internet connection. You can also use it to create a OneMesh network with compatible TP-Link devices, get notified when a new device connects, share your Wi-Fi password, and update the router’s firmware.
TP-Link Archer AXE75 review: Price and availability
The TP-Link Archer AX73 is a newer model that came out in early 2021. It has a suggested retail price of $199.99. Not all of TP-markets Link’s have gotten this router yet, but Canada, India, the UK, and the US are among the places that have. You can get this product from Amazon or BestBuy.
Even though performance may vary slightly from place to place, this router will probably be sold in all of the places where TP-Link does business. This is because spectrum options vary from country to country.

Final Words
The TP-Link Archer AX73 is a middle-of-the-road router that works with Wi-Fi 6. Modern and fast, it can be a good choice for people who have outgrown budget models but don’t want to pay extra for things like two-gigabit uplinks. The ratio of price to performance looks very good. On the other hand, its features may be too much for users who don’t need much, and there are cheaper routers on the market.
