Starting with the design, the UMI Z 4G features an all-metal unibody design which is carved from a single aluminum slab as claimed by the company. An all-aluminum design makes the smartphone look extremely thin and quite sturdy while holding in the palm. The smartphone’s design is based on Dual 3D cutting edge technology with a very narrow bezel.
Up above the display is home for the ambient light sensor, selfie camera with selfie flash module. The fingerprint sensor is located below the display which is also the home button for the device. Dual-Nano SIM slots are located on the left edge of the smartphone along with the micro-SD slot. Volume and power buttons are located on the right edge of the device. The bottom edge of the smartphone is home to the USB Type-C port, speaker grill, and microphone.

The 3.5mm audio jack is located on the top edge of the smartphone. Back side of the smartphone is home to the dual rear camera setup along with the flash module. The company’s logo is encrypted within the chassis of the smartphone, below the camera module. The antenna lines on the top, and bottom edge of the smartphone make it identical to iPhone 6s.
The UMI Z 4G features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080 x 1920 pixels’ resolution) display covered by a 2.5D Arc Screen. The display is quite sharp and has bright colors, but still, it is not as bright as that to the Quad-HD display of Samsung’s Galaxy S7 edge.
