The X60 Pro came out in April, but its sequel, which we’re going to look at today, isn’t just a half-baked update, as you might think from the short time between releases. In fact, it’s the opposite. The X70 Pro now has the same kinds of features as the X60 Pro+, but it costs a different amount.
Compared to the X60 Pro, the price increase seems reasonable. The new model has a 120Hz frame rate and an AMOLED screen that is brighter and uses less power. The camera is led by a 50MP f/1.8 camera, which is joined by 8MP 5x zoom and 12MP 2x zoom telephoto cameras that were taken from the X60 Pro+. The fact that the 2x telephoto unit has a wide f/2.0 lens is especially exciting.

Vivo X70 Pro review: Design

As usual, Vivo has made a very high-quality, eye-catching phone. It may be a little bit thicker and heavier than its predecessor, with a thickness of 7.99mm and a weight of 183g, but it feels light and is very thin so it can fit in your pocket.
We tried out the more subtle matte Cosmic Back finish, but there is also a sparkly finish called Aurora Dawn. Even though the phone is thin, the screen is still big at 6.56 inches with curved sides. You can buy this phone from its official website
Vivo X70 Pro review: Display
The beautiful Full HD+, 6.56in, 120Hz AMOLED panel on the back goes well with the design. This is broken up only by the punch hole camera module, which sits in the middle of the top of the phone’s screen.
The colors are bright and deep, and the textures have a lot of character. It’s a joy to watch movies on, and the 240Hz touch sampling rate makes mobile gaming feel great as well. The frame rate can be set to either 60Hz, 120Hz, or “smart switch,” which will choose the best setting based on what you’re doing.
Software and Performance

Not only does the X70 Pro’s camera cost more, but so does its efficiency. With a MediaTek Dimensity 1200SoC, the device can handle heavy-duty jobs like GPU-intensive gaming, running a lot of heavy apps and switching between them, using split-screen, or even doing some basic 4K video editing. Even though I have used a lot of Dimensity 1200 phones that cost a lot less, we have never been unhappy. We also ran a CPU slowdown test on the device to see how well its performance held up under load. After 30 minutes, the X70 Pro was still running at about 75% of its peak performance.
Vivo X70 Pro review: Camera
The camera has been improved in many ways. Like its predecessor, the X70 Pro has a hole-punch front-facing camera with 32 MP. But instead of the triple-camera system on the back of the X60 Pro, the X70 Pro has a quad-camera system with a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 50MP wide-angle main camera, a 12MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom.
Battery Life
The device’s battery life is about the same as what the competition has to offer. The battery has a 4,450mAh size and works with 44W FlashCharge technology through USB C. A lot of what we did every day was stream on OTT channels. We watched all four episodes of Squid Game on Netflix in four hours, and the battery died by about 40%, which we think is about normal.
The device gets a score of 15 hours and 14 minutes on the 10 Battery test. Even so, the phone’s fast charge feature can power it up in less than an hour.
Price
The 8GB RAM model of the Vivo X70 Pro starts at CNY4,299/INR46,990, which is about £470–£480/US$630–$670. These prices have been changed, and if the phone comes out in the UK and Europe, it will probably be more expensive. As an example, the foreign price of the Vivo X60 Pro is £500, but the UK price starts at £749.
Final Words
The Vivo X80 Pro 5G, one of the best camera phones of 2022, has just been released in Europe. It will be sold in the UK on July 7. If you can get it where you live, you should give it a lot of thought. The X80 Pro 5G is a great camera phone that looks nice, costs a lot, and has a lot of features, but it’s not cheap and it’s not perfect. Its camera system is one of the most complete ones out there because it doesn’t have any real weak points.
