The ROG Zephyrus G15 GA503 is a beautiful computer that is great for gaming, making content, editing photos and videos, and just about anything else you can think of. Last year, we were amazed by how well it looked, how long its battery lasted, and how well it worked.

These days, gaming laptops come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Not only are they powerful, but serious gamers also want them to look good. But if you’re like me and mostly use your laptop for work, you might not want a gaming system with a lot of flashy graphics. You do, however, want the raw power to play games like Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020.

The Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 is stunning for a laptop designed solely for gaming. The ROG Zephyrus G15 is a refreshing change of pace in a market full of gaming laptops that are trying to pass for racing cars and stealth bombers in clamshells, albeit it’s not quite on the level of the Dell XPS 13 or the iMac.

The Lenovo Legion 5 Pro doesn’t look overly fancy when compared to other 16- or 17-inch gaming laptops like the flashier Alienware m17 R5. It looks more like an HP OMEN 16 or the ThinkBook 16p Gen 3 I just tested, as it has the same basic design.

Every time you click or press a key, the Zephyrus G15 shines. Everyday tasks go quickly on the laptop. The Zephyrus G15 has an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 GPU and an AMD Ryzen 9 6900HS processor. We also played Fifa and Halo, and I didn’t notice any drops in frame rate while I was plugged in.

Inside the Legion 5 Pro is an Intel Core i7–12700H processor with 14 cores and 20 threads, an Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti graphics card with 8GB of GDDR6 memory, a 512GB NVMe SSD for storage, and 16GB of DDR5 4,800Mhz memory. Even for a laptop, that’s a good list of components for a gaming PC.

The inputs are identical to those of the 2021 Zephyrus G15, with the difference that all models now come with an RGB-lit keyboard as standard equipment. Other than the lack of a distinct Print-screen key, which some of you might need, the keyboard layout is typical for an Asus laptop; nothing odd about it.

A full-size keyboard with a number pad and chiclet-style keys, which have flat edges on three sides and a rounded bottom, is located on the right. With a total of three distinct profiles available to swap between in the Lenovo Vantage software, you can adjust the RGB lighting in the four separate zones beneath the keyboard to suit your mood.

The 15.6-inch, 2560 x 1400 display on the Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 is less vivid and colourful than the average premium gaming laptop, but it still holds its own against rivals thanks to a respectable 240Hz refresh rate.

The aspect ratio of the 16:10 display on the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro is. Its bezels are also thin, measuring one and a quarter inches at the top, sides, and bottom, respectively. This charges the laptop’s character. By choosing a 16:10 aspect ratio, the display will appear a little bit taller and narrower than a 16:9 widescreen.

The best gaming laptop for 2022 is the Asus Zephyrus G15. Period. Some people might like how portable the G14 is over the G15, but I prefer the G15 because it has more space. The Zephyrus G15 has a long-lasting battery, loud speakers, and a great 15.6-inch 1440p screen (with a 240Hz refresh rate).

Is Asus ROG better than Lenovo Legion?

The Lenovo Legion 5 Gen 6 15 isn’t as good as the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14. The ASUS is easier to carry around because it is smaller, thinner, and lighter. It also has a brighter screen, a bigger and more responsive touchpad, and a battery that lasts much longer.
