But today we can’t even remember directions to our own house. These days, when people have become so dependent on online services like Google Maps or GPS (Geo Positioning System), they no longer remember the instructions or are interested in learning them.

FIX BLANK GOOGLE MAPS IN CHROME

It’s a little harder to fix this issue on Google Chrome than it is on Android. It is not, however, rocket science. Allow me guide you through the procedure.

Open Chrome’s settings menu by clicking the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner of the web browser.

Scroll to the bottom of the page to find the Advanced option after logging in. It must be played.

Look for the “Privacy and Security” heading here. Content settings can be found in the header. tighten button.

At the top of the list you will see the Cookies option. To proceed to the next page, click on it. This is where you should click. See the complete list of cookies and website data.

On the next page there is a long list of cookies. Those that leave their Google Maps blank are labeled gsScrollPos and have a four-digit number appended to them.

To delete all cookies, click on the ‘X’ button to the left of each.

Open a new tab (Ctrl + T) and go to the Google Maps website when done. It should now work normally if you follow all of the above steps correctly.

FIX BLANK GOOGLE MAPS ON ANDROID

To restore the integrity of your Google Maps app, delete all cached app data on your Android phone and reinstall Google Maps with the latest version. See how it’s done:

Navigate to Apps or Apps on your phone.

Scroll through the list of apps until you find Maps. It must be taken advantage of.

You should now see the application details, including Force stop and uninstall update buttons. You should see two separate buttons below all this: Clear data and clear cache. You may also notice that options have some memory associated with them. To get rid of all the unwanted clutter in your app, tap on each one.

Go ahead and use the Google Maps app right now. If that doesn’t solve the problem, your app version is out of date. To update it, you need to go to Google Play Store. Google Maps can be found in the My Apps & Games section.

Select the app from the list and tap on it. You should now see two options: Uninstall and Update. You have the option to completely uninstall the app and reinstall the latest version, or you can click Update and let the developers help you improve your Maps experience with the latest fixes.
