How to change your desktop subscription

Click on the gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen

Click “See all settings” at the top of the sidebar

Make sure you are viewing the “General” tab

Scroll down to “Subscription”

click on the button that says “Create new”

Enter a name for your signature in the pop-upup window and then click “Create”

You should see your subscription name. Click the pencil icon to edit the name or the trash can icon to delete it.

Enter your full signature in the box on the right. You can also customize it using different fonts, bold and italics.

You can add more subscriptions by clicking the “Create new” button button”

Under “Subscription Defaults” you will see “For new email usage” and “On reply/forward usage”. Use the drop-down menus to select which subscriptions are used for each category.

You also have the option to check the box next to “Insert signature before quoted text in responses and remove the line “—” that precedes it

Click “Save Changes” at the bottom of the menu

How to change your signature in Gmail Mobile Application

Tap the three bars in the upper left corner of the screen

this will open up a menu. Scroll down and select Settings.

Select the email account you want to create a signature for

Under General, tap “Subscription Settings” (iPhone) or “Mobile Subscription” (Android)

If you are using an iPhone, be sure to Mobile Subscription is activated. Type your signature below it. For Android phones, tap “OK” when done.
