It’s hard to define why iMessages doesn’t ship without some trial and error. One of the solutions below should work. You may have to try them all to get to the bottom of the problem.
Do you have Internet access?
The obvious reason your message doesn’t get delivered is because the recipient has no service. iMessage relies on an internet connection, so if no Wi-Fi or cellular data is available, it won’t show up until your phone gets a connection.
