  • Open WhatsApp on your Android phone > three-dot menu in the upper right corner
  • Select Settings here> and click Chats
  • Here you will find the ‘Backup Chat’ option. Now press the back button Up button in green color
  • WhatsApp chats will be supported up to your Google Drive
  • You can also schedule regular chat backups by selecting the Backup to Google Drive option. You can even schedule the backup frequency, which will happen automatically when connected to a wi-fi network.
