How to bulk delete Facebook posts from iPhone and Android device – Guide
Sharing photos, videos or thoughts with friends on Facebook has always been fun for me. While I’m careful to only share posts that I think are noteworthy or that might get a lot of praise from friends and family, there were sometimes a few quirks. No matter how commendable some posts may seem at the time of posting, they become irrelevant (if not a source of annoyance and embarrassment) over time.
Although Facebook allowed users to search the activity log and delete specific posts, the process was quite tedious. But that is no longer the case today! Thanks to a recent update, you can now easily delete Facebook posts on your iPhone or Android device. Chances are, over the years, you’ve created some Facebook posts that you’d rather not see and search for.
To improve the experience of finding and deleting Facebook posts, the company has finally added the feature under “Activity Log” to filter and delete or bulk archive all posts you make. The latest version of Facebook lets you filter your activity based on three things: categories, date, and people. You can choose any of three options to sort your Facebook posts and track the ones you don’t want to show on your profile page. Once you’ve selected redundant posts, you can archive or remove them all at once.
How to bulk delete Facebook posts
For now, the option to filter and delete Facebook posts in bulk is only available on iOS and Android (web support coming at some point).
The new feature it’s still rolling out, so double check if you’re not seeing it now. Fortunately, Facebook will improve the filters option to include the ability to search for specific terms in the future.
