There are times when you want to highlight and share a section of text on a website, whether to friends, colleagues or on social media. While you can always use a simple highlighting tool for this purpose, Google Chrome is testing a stylish card. feature which allows you to easily share quotes from websites. In this article, you will learn how to enable and use the new quote cards feature in Google Chrome. Open Google Chrome and navigate to chrome://flags. Then search for “WebNotes Stylize”. Alternatively, you can access the flag directly by pasting the following address into Chrome’s address bar. It’s worth noting that Chrome’s stylized web notes feature is currently available in Chrome Beta, Dev and Canary on Android. I managed to access the feature in Chrome Beta version 94.0.4606.31.
It’s hidden behind a feature flag, and if you still don’t see it, you’ll need to install Chrome Beta or wait for Google to introduce the feature to the Stable Channel. After enabling the flag, don’t forget to restart your browser. You can tap the “Restart” button button at the bottom of the screen to restart Chrome on your Android phone. Here’s what the quote card looked like when I shared it on Telegram. As you can see below, you also get the URL with the image, and it takes you directly to the quoted text on the site. Open any website and select a section of text you want to share as a quote. After selecting the text, tap “Share” and choose “Create map” from the share sheet.
