WhatsApp stickers were made available to everyone on Android and iOS last month. Since their release, the stickers quickly became popular, especially during festival season. In India, the largest WhatsApp user base, more stickers in regional languages ​​were shared on the platform. The company, which belongs to Facebook, also wants to introduce a sticker search function, a feature which has already been seen in the beta version of Android.

How to create WhatsApp stickers on ​​Android

  • Download the Sticker Maker app on Android.
  • Tap Create a new sticker pack.
  • Name the sticker pack and add an author name to the pack if you would like to receive credit for creating these stickers.
  • You will see 30 pieces on the next screen. Tap any of them and then tap Take photo, Open gallery, or Select file to select the photos. The first option allows you to take a photo, the second option opens your photo gallery and the third option allows you to select images from your file manager.
  • The next step allows you to crop the image into a shape. You can select freehand (to draw a shape manually and cut the sticker), Cut square or Cut circle.
  • When finished cutting, tap Yes, Save Sticker.
  • After adding three stickers, you can tap Add to WhatsApp. You will see a confirmation message on the screen once it has been added.
  • Now open WhatsApp, tap emoji icon > stickers icon at the bottom. You will now see your new sticker pack as the last in the sticker pack list.
  • To delete a pack of stickers, tap the pack > three dot icon in the upper right corner > Delete.

  • Download the Bazaart app on iPhone.
  • Open the app and tap Start New or Open Photo.
  • Now you can use the tools in the app to create your sticker. You can easily cut it into shapes, add dialog boxes, and more through Bazaart’s on-screen tools.
  • When finished, tap the Share icon and tap WhatsApp.
  • The app will ask you to add your name if you want to receive credit for the sticker pack. Then, on the next screen, tap Add to WhatsApp.
  • This will add your sticker to WhatsApp. Tap the sticker icon that appears on the form where you type messages. Your stickers will appear up here.
  • Bazaart also allows you to easily update your sticker pack. Just repeat steps 2-4 above and you’ll see a new screen asking if you want to update or delete your sticker pack. Tap Update to add more stickers to your package.
