How to Edit Summary Tab in iPhone’s Health App – Guide
Just as iMessage is my preferred messaging app, the Health app remains my preferred app for tracking and managing health data. While the App Store is awash with a variety of health and fitness apps, none can match Apple’s in-depth repertoire of health monitoring offerings. While the app’s addition of a wealth of features become a boon for fitness geeks, it also increased the learning curve – especially for beginners. If you don’t want the learning curve to get in the way of your desired fitness goal, check out these 17 tips to use the Health app on iPhone like a pro.
The new Health app on iPhone (introduced with iOS 13) focuses on providing more detailed information about your health data in a dynamic overview. But if you want more consistency, you can customize the Favorites section of the Summary tab as follows. When you open the Health app, you will see two tabs: Summary and Search. The Summary tab (which replaces the old Today view) is a feed divided into several sections such as Favorites, Highlights, Health Recommendations, Apps, and more.
If you want to view all the data, you can switch to the Browse tab. Here you can select a category to see all activities for the day. While the Summary tab is dynamic (it updates with new information based on connected devices and time of day), you do have some control over the Favorites section. While you can add or remove some types of data, unfortunately you cannot rearrange them.
