How to install Windows 10 ISO and install Windows 10 – Guide
Do you want to upgrade or downgrade to a specific build of Windows 10 or just purchased a new PC and want to configure and install a new copy of Windows 10? Next, you will need the latest version of the Windows 10 ISO file.
Here are steps that will help you download the latest Windows 10 ISO file to update or clean the Windows 10 installation on your system.
Step 1: Download Windows 10 ISO legally from Microsoft on Windows
To get started, go to the Windows 10 download page. Under the heading that says Create Windows 10 Installation Media, select the Download Now tool button.
Next, a dialog will ask if you want to save a program called MediaCreationTool21H1.exe. Click Save File. This will download the file to your computer.
Step 2: Create your ISO file

If you are running Windows 8 or later, you can update your PC or laptop for Windows 10 by mounting the ISO file you just downloaded – double click it. Windows will display the ISO as if it were a DVD drive.
From here you can install Windows 10. Just open Setup.exe and the installer will open. From here, you can choose to install Windows 10 in place, leaving your files and programs behind. All necessary data will be transferred from the ISO to your computer, which will eventually restart your PC to complete the installation.
If you’re running Windows 7 or earlier, you can’t mount ISOs – instead, you can download Virtual Clone Drive and use it to install ISO files.
