How to Make Most of Complications on an Apple Watch – Guide
One of the ways to customize the face of your Apple Watch is to use complications (as well as choosing from a multitude of designs and colors). Complications display data from apps and can be applied directly to watch faces. Date, weather and battery life are just a few examples. Adding complexities to a watch face is a quick and easy way to see the information you need with just a glance at your Apple Watch. You can also have many watch faces on your smartphone, each with its own set of complexities to better suit your various activity needs.
For example, I have a Modular watch face (with five complication slots) that shows the date, weather, and battery life, plus shortcuts to activity and Heart Evaluate applications; and an activity dial (with three complication slots, of which I chose to use just one) that shows my activity progress both numerically and visually (by the degree to which each ring is closed), as well as a shortcut to the Workout app.
