How to mute a discord user

Step 1: Right-click on the user you want to mute. This can be anywhere, including the list of users on a server.
Step 2: Hover over Mute @[their username]. From the extended menu, choose how long you want to mute them. This will silence direct message notifications.
Step 3: If you want to mute someone on a Discord server, right-click on that server’s name bar and click the checkbox next to Mute.
Android and iOS
Step 1: Currently, on Android and iOS, you can only mute someone’s direct messages. The silence option for others on the servers is not available.
Step 2: In your Direct Messages list, find the person you want to mute and press and hold their name. A menu will appear up at the bottom of the screen and you will press Mute Channel.
