You can hire a speech coach. Or you can use Presenter Coach, a PowerPoint tool that lets you practice your presentation and get feedback. This tool has been around for a few months in the web version of PowerPoint, but now it’s also available in the desktop version.
The PowerPoint Speaking Coach was first introduced in PowerPoint for the web, and students and professionals alike have taken advantage of it feature present with more confidence. Now you can use this popular feature across all platforms – web, Windows, Mac, iOS and Android – whenever and wherever you need it, on the go or in home.
How to use Presenter Coach for PowerPoint
To work with Presenter Coach, you need to open your presentation in PowerPoint. On the Slide Show tab, in the Rehearsals group, click Rehearsal with Coach. Then click Start Rehearsal to start your presentation and select the Show real-time feedback checkbox if you want ongoing guidance. However, do not start speaking until you see the Listen… prompt. message.
If you have enabled real-time guidance, the coach will remind you not to use “filler words” when talking. At the final, you’ll see a sample report summarizing the coach’s feedback. Be sure to take a screenshot! For privacy reasons, Microsoft deletes comments after you are done and also does not keep a record of your performance.
