The admin center’s remote cloud PC resizing function allows you to update the hardware configuration of a cloud PC. Windows 365 cloud PCs can change their RAM, CPU and storage sizes. Changing the Azure VM SKU that Microsoft maintains is the goal of Cloud PC sizing. IT administrators can use the Resize Cloud PC feature to easily modify the VM SKU. With this functionality, the management overhead will be considerably minimized. As you may know, changing the SKU of an Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) VM is difficult and multiple SKU types are not supported in a host pool.
Where is the Cloud PC resize option
The cloud PC resizing option is a straightforward option. Yes, but it might be easier for administrators if this option is available on the Windows 365 node in the Endpoint Manager admin center portal. But unfortunately it is not available on that node.
There are several ways to get the Resize Cloud PC remote action. I found the following method to be most useful for cloud PC administrators. The other option (all devices -> search the cloud PC registry) is a little more tedious, at least from my perspective.
After clicking the cloud PC name on the previous page, you will be redirected to Devices -> CPC-anoopb-2-U7 -> Overview page in the MEM admin center portal. This is where you can see all remote actions, including resize.
