Install Firefox directly on your Fire Stick

How to Download Firefox using the search function

Launch Fire Stick and select the search (magnifying glass) icon from the top menu. You can find it in the upper left corner of the screen.

Click “Get” or “Download” (You will see Download button only if you’ve downloaded Firefox in the past.).

Once Downloader is installed, go back to your device screen home screen and open Settings » My Fire TV » Developer Options » Install Unknown Apps. You will see the Downloader app. Click on it. This will set “Unknown Sources” to “On” for the Downloader app, which will allow sideloading on your device.

Now open the Downloader application. a pop-up will appear asking if Downloader has permission to access files on your device. Click “Allow”.

The Firefox apk file will begin to download. Wait until the file download is complete.

After Firefox has downloaded, click “Install” on the next pop-up.up. Your Firefox APK will now be installed.

After downloading, you may be prompted to remove the installation file and up space on your device. Click “Delete” to delete the file. Now you are done.

The installed Firefox application is now located under – Apps & Channels » View All.
