It looks relaxed and gorgeous, and has no goals, budgets, or goals at all other than building a charming little village with houses, trees, roads, parks, beaches, gardens, and other decorations.
The best part (and why the game is called Gourdlets) is that when you build a town, a little cable car stops and little two-legged veggie people get on board to explore and have fun. They don’t just walk around to see the scenery, they interact with what you’re making. When you build a beach, a thick little gourd builds a sandcastle.
Set up one park, and have fun roasting marshmallows over the campfire in another. They will sit on your bench, fish in your pond, and water your flowers. Damn cute stuff! You can even see how it reacts to weather changes when it rains, unfolds a small umbrella and builds a snowman in winter.
