- Turn on your iPhone or iPad.
- Launch iTunes on your computer. Your iPhone should appear on the list of devices.
- On your iPhone, press the Volume Up button, immediately followed by the Volume Down button.
- Hold the Power button until your device’s screen turns black.
- Hold the Power and Volume Down buttons at the same time for five seconds.
- Release the Power button, but continue holding the Volume Down button.
- Wait five seconds for iTunes to recognize that you have entered DFU recovery mode.
Remove Jailbreak
- Connect the jailbroken device to your computer, PC, or Mac, using the USB cable
- Launch iTunes
- Unlock your device, if you set up a passcode
- Turn off Find My iPhone by going to Settings > iCloud > Find My iPhone. You need to enter your Apple ID and password to turn this off.

Back-Up Your iPhone and iPad

- Connect your iPhone to a Wi-Fi network.

- Select iCloud Backup.

The Unjailbreaking Process
- Connect your iPhone or iPad to your PC or Mac using the original USB cable.
- Launch iTunes on your computer.
- Unlock your iDevice and TurnoffFindMyiPhone.
- Go to Settings, tap on Your Name and choose iCloud.
- Tap on Find My iPhone and make sure the toggle is OFF. You will need to enter your Apple ID and password, to turn this feature off.
- In iTunes on your computer, select your iDevice when it appears.
- In the Summary panel, click on the Restore button. You’ve just started the unjailbreaking process.
- During the procedure, your device will restart. It will ask you if you would like to restore from a backup Here you can select the iCloud option if you want to restore it from the file that you created earlier.
Is Jailbreaking Legal?
In many countries, jailbreaking is almost legal, but in most places, it’s still a bit of a gray area. It’s better to say that jailbreaking isn’t against the law. You can use your device legally as long as you download and install software and games that you bought legally.
In the US, jailbreaking an iPhone was against the law until 2010. In the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, Congress changed this by adding more devices to the list of those not covered by the law. On that list are phones and tablets.
Jailbreaking is also legal in the EU, UK, India, and New Zealand, but most laws about it have never been tested in court. Also, because Apple doesn’t like jailbreaking, it automatically voids the warranty on your device. Remember that before you mess with your iPhone.
