This is called “Caret Browsing” and here it is how to use the feature in popular browsers such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Brave and Internet Explorer. Other commonly used browsers such as Safari and Opera are not compatible with this feature.
What is Caret Browsing?
Caret Browsing is a feature on Windows 11/10 with its help you can use the keyboard navigation keys, select text and move it within a web page. You can select and copy text snippets as short as a single character using just the keyboard. Other types of content, such as tables or images, can also be selected and copied.
Enable Caret Browsing on Windows 11/10
Instead of using your mouse to select text and navigate a web page, you can use the standard keyboard navigation keys:
