Update Google Chrome

  • Click Chrome menu > Go to Help.

  • Then click Activate Sync… to activate sync as before again.

    • Disable bookmark extensions

  • Click Chrome menu > Go to More Tools.
  • Then click Extensions.
  • Turn off iCloud Bookmarks or any other bookmarks extension.

    • Reset Google Chrome

  • Click Chrome menu > Settings > Click Advanced.
  • Select Restart and Clear up > Choose ‘Restore settings to original defaults’.
  • You can enable or disable the ‘Help make Chrome better by reporting current settings’ checkmark. That is up for you.
  • Now click Reset settings to restore Chrome to default settings.
  • Finally, you can try to clear the bookmarks you want.
