How to Install/Uninstall PWAs in Chrome Browser – Guide
Unlike Chromium Edge, the Windows 10 Settings app or Control Panel applet does not list Progressive Web Apps installed in Chrome browser for removal. Google made changes in Chrome 89 to make this possible on Windows. Instead of visiting websites in the browser, it is better to install your PWAs in the browser as they can also work offline. Lately, Microsoft and Google have been working together to improve PWAs for the Play Store. It’s important to note that pre-release versions of Edge and Chrome now support running PWAs at Windows startup.
Microsoft also provided app shortcuts for Chrome on Android and for Windows and Mac for Microsoft Edge. Both Chrome and the new Edge will show an icon in the address bar for installation if the site you’re visiting is a Progressive Web App.
