How to Use Reminders App on iPhone or iPad – Guide

Adding a Reminder
If you’ve never used the Reminders app, adding a task is simple. just open up the app and tap Reminders in My Lists. From this screen, select + New Reminder at the bottom of the page.

Select the clock icon (the first option on the toolbar) to set a due date for the reminder. You can set a custom date or select relative terms like today, tomorrow, or this weekend. Using this means you will receive a reminder notification on your device at the chosen time.
The location icon will allow you to create a notification for wherever you are. You can set a custom location or select one of the incoming presets home, arriving at work or getting into the car. For an important reminder, select the flag. It will appear in a flagged list when you open the Reminders app.

Today shows any reminders you have planned for today. You will also see all overdue tasks. Under Scheduled, you’ll see everything you’ve assigned a delivery date for. Any task with a flag appears in the Flagged list. Meanwhile, the Everyone list shows each of your unfinished reminders.
You can also create a custom list. From the main application screen, select Add List. Choose a name and then select a color for the list. There are also many icons to choose from. From the same menu, you can also select Add people to share a list with friends and family. You will first select how the other person will receive the invitation to work on the list.
