Ways to Set Up GoDaddy Email
Set up GoDaddy professional email
- Purchase a GoDaddy business email plan as per your choice from the available options, following this link: https://www.godaddy.com/en-in/email/professional-business-email
- After successful purchase, go to or login to GoDaddy my product dashboard.
- Scroll down to the page and go to the “Email & Office” section and click on “Setup” right beside it.
- Select which domain you want to use for this new email from either of the two options:
- Your Domain or
- A domain not in my GoDaddy account
- Then click on “Continue”.
- If you select option 2,i.e, “A domain not in my GoDaddy account” you can manually type in your domain name in the given space.
- Then you need to make changes to your DNS server and only after that you will be able to continue to set up your new email.
- If you select option 1,i.e,”Your Domain”, a new interface will open “Welcome create your first professional email account”.
- Now, create your new preferred business email ID. You can choose anything like support@yourdomainname or help@yourdomainname. Your email name ends with @yourdomainname by default.
- Fill in all your information, such as your first name, last name, account permissions, create a password and an additional email to which all information will be sent regarding this new email set up.
- Check the box beside “I understand” and click on Create.
- Now your new email id will be created and you can even link your mobile number to your new email. Enter your smartphone number and click Submit.
- Now a new dashboard will open, here you can complete the set up checklist. If you want to sign in to your new email, click on “sign in to email”.
- If you want to directly sign in to your new email, go to Google and search GoDaddy webmail. Click on the webmail-Godaddy link when it appears on search results of Google. Here you can sign in with your business email ID and password. And it’s done.
Setup GoDaddy professional email in Gmail
You simply need one app to handle both your Gmail and your GoDaddy professional email. You must first connect your GoDaddy professional email account to Gmail. Follow these steps to set up a GoDaddy business email account in Gmail:
- Login to the dashboard of GoDaddy professional email ID, “Email & Office”.
- Scroll down a little and click on Server Settings in the Setup section of the dashboard. Now you will be able to see all your incoming and outgoing server ID and SSL port number of your professional email.
- Now login to your Gmail account in another tab of your browser and open your Gmail account and click the gear icon in the top-right corner of the screen to go to Settings.
- Now in Settings and click on See all settings.
- In the menu that appears, click the “Accounts and import” tab. Click the Add a mail account buttonin the check mail from other accounts section.
- Now a new window Add a mail account will open. Enter the email address and password for your GoDaddy professional email account in Email address and password section and click Next.
- Select Import emails from my other account (POP3) and click Next.
- Enter your GoDaddy professional email ID in Username section, password and copy and paste your POP server ID in POP server section and SSL port number from the GoDaddy professional email dashboard. Select “Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving mail” box and click Add Account.
- Select Yes, I want to be able to send mail as @yourprofessionalemailID and click Next.
- Enter a profile name of your GoDaddy professional email ID and click Next Step.
- Now copy and paste your SMTP server ID and SSL port number from your GoDaddy professional email dashboard, enter your professional email ID and password and select Secure connection using TLS (recommended) and click Add Account.
- Now login to your GoDaddy professional email account via GoDaddy webmail in another tab and copy and paste or enter the verification code received in your GoDaddy professional email account and click Verify.
- Your GoDaddy professional email account should now be configured and ready to use in Gmail. You will receive emails of both your accounts in your Gmail inbox.
Setup Godaddy Mail on an iPhone
- Tap the “Settings” icon on your iPhone home screen.
- Tap “Mail, Contacts, Calendars” and then tap “Add Account.“
- Tap “Other” and then tap “Add Mail Account.“
- Type your name, GoDaddy email address, GoDaddy password and an optional title for the email account, then tap “Next.”
- Select the “POP” tab and enter “pop.secureserver.net” (without quotation marks) as the incoming mail server and “smtpout.secureserver.net” (without quotation marks) as the outgoing mail server. Enter your username and password, then tap “Save.”
