The MPow X6 true wireless earbuds are a new product from MPow. At the time of this writing, they cost about $49 on Amazon and have great sound, strong ANC, and a lot of features. These are nice-looking earbuds that stand out from the rest because of their colour and design. But how well do they work.

Mpow X6 review: Design and features
The M6 headphones look a lot like other headphones. They have a matte black plastic case with gold microphone holes and a Mpow logo that is printed on it. A small LED shows the connection status. When charging, the LED is red, and when connecting, the LED is white. The earbuds snap into place magnetically in the case that charges and stores them.
You can see the charging contacts on the back of the earbuds and the charging pins at the bottom of the case openings. Each bud is marked with “L” or “R,” which makes it easy to tell them apart. The charging case can give the buds four full charges, so with a fully charged pair of buds and a fully charged case, you can listen to music for 25 hours. The sound quality is good here. We like the way these things sound if you can get that good seal on here. You’ll hear some great bass, and we like the bass on this track. It’s punchy, and the bass isn’t too sharp. It helps me get into the zone, but it doesn’t take anything away from the highs and lows. We do like the way these sound overall. It’s very clear that they sound great, and if you like bass, you’ll like how they sound.

We think that the touch controls are a great feature. They control the volume, the next and previous tracks, and everything else, such as play/pause, ANC on/off, ambient, and a four-tap to turn on low latency mode. The buttons pick up commands well. There’s a lot of room to hold them without touching the controls by accident. These are good controls, but there are a lot of options, so take your time getting to know them.
Mpow X6 review: Battery & Connectivity
When the top is pulled upwards, the clamshell-style cover has a spring loaded mechanism that makes it easy to open. Other from that, it will remain closed wherever you put it, whether in your pocket, a purse, or a backpack. You’ll see a pair of white LED lights underneath the lid, which are located on the front of the case. When the battery is completely full or nearly full, both of these lights will remain steady. You will only notice a single light when you are at a middle level.
Final Words
The Mpow X6 are truly wireless in-ear headphones that can block out outside noise. They are small, well-made, and very comfortable. They also have a low latency mode built in. It can help bring latency down to acceptable levels if you’re using an iOS device.
It doesn’t have much of an effect on audio lag when it’s connected to a PC or an Android device. Their ANC system isn’t very good either, and their short battery life could be annoying for some people. They also have a sound that is heavy on bass and can’t be changed out of the box, which may not be to everyone’s taste.
