Hide Meet Now Icon in Windows 10

To hide the Meet Now icon on the taskbar, follow these steps:

Right-click on the taskbar and select “Taskbar Settings”.

In the Settings window, scroll down and tap on the “Turn system icons on or off” link.

Locate the “Meet Now” icon in the list.

Select the option and toggle it to “Off” by clicking on it.

Disable Meet Now with Settings

To remove Meet Now from the taskbar with Settings, follow these steps:

Open settings.

Click Personalization.

Click on the Taskbar.

In the “Notification area” section, click the Turn system icons on or off option.

Turn off the Meet Now toggle switch.

If you want to enable the option, you can use the same instructions as described above, but in step #5, make sure you enable the Meet Now toggle switch.

Disable Meet Now with Group Policy

On Windows 10 Pro (Enterprise or Education), you can also disable Skype Meet Now button using the Group Policy Editor. To disable Meet Now on Windows 10, follow these steps:

Open Start.

Search for gpedit.msc and select the top result to open the Local Group Policy Editor.

Navigate via the following path:

User Configuration > Administrative Templates > Start Menu and Taskbar

On the right side, double-click the Remove Meet Now button button politics.

Select the Enabled option.

Click OK button button.

Restart your computer.
