If there’s one app that’s exploded in recent months, it’s TikTok. This China-based platform has attracted many users due to its unique video sharing features. As with all media-related platforms, it’s often easy to find a comment you don’t agree with, a video you don’t like, or an account you don’t approve of. TikTok is aware that this could happen to you which is why they have ways to report comments, videos and accounts. You will learn how to do these three things on the app (iOS or Android) and on the website (Tiktok.com).

You can only report comments made on your video. Comments that you consider inappropriate, but that were made on other people’s videos, can only be reported by them.

In your iOS or Android app, tap the ‘Me’ button button in the lower right corner. Your profile page will be displayed. If you’re on Tiktok.com, tap your profile picture in the top right.

The page that opens will have your videos displayed automatically. Click or tap on the video on which an inappropriate comment was made.

When you get it, tap and hold it. A small menu will appear. Choose ‘Report’.
