You will need to check your phone number with the PIN sent to your phone. this is the final step of the application process. Now you can switch to messages.

Sending messages to a group on GroupMe

There are several ways to send a message on GroupMe, but the most common way is in a Group. If you already have a group or need to create one, we’ll start by showing you how to create your own group.

To create a group on GroupMe, do the following:

Tap the blue message icon with a plus symbol inside it (at the bottom of the screen).

Choose Start Group.

Enter the group name.

Tap the checkmark in the upper right corner.

You will receive a pop-up telling you to add members to the group. Enter an account name in the field below to find someone (enter email address or phone number if they are not already on GroupMe). You can add multiple people at the same time, just click Add ”x’ members at the bottom of the screen.

After adding group members, you can finally start sending messages. Just tap the Send message field at the bottom and type your message.

Click the plus symbol at the bottom of the screen to create the group. Now you can communicate with other group members in real time.
