Using the Google Drive app
If you don’t already have the app, install Google Drive from the Play Store, open the app and log in to your Google account. In any of the app’s tabs, tap on Plus button in the lower right corner of the screen to show the Create New panel. Choose Scan when this appears. If this is your first time using Google Drive, you will have to grant permission for the app to use your camera. Once this is done, the camera will launch and allow you to take a photo of the document you want to scan.
Use the camera normal interface to take this photo. Common options like zoom and a timer are available if needed. You will see a preview of your photo; tap redo button to try again, or Check button if you are satisfied. After hitting the check button you will have the option to make various edits to your scan.
Editing your scan in Google Drive
