Step 1: In the Google Play Store app, tap your profile icon in the upper right corner of the home page.
Step 2: A new menu will appear. Select Manage apps and devices.
Step 3: At the “To manage”, select an app that you want to update automatically. You will be taken to the store page for that app.
Step 4: Tap the “More” menu (the three vertical dots) in the upper right corner.
Step 5: Next, check the “Enable automatic update” checkbox. You can repeat from step 3 for each app you want to do this for.

Step 1: I go to the “Manage apps and devices” in the Google Play Store app (see step 1 from the previous section if you can’t find it).
Step 2: At the “To manage” tab, tap the “Updates available” button to see all the apps you can currently update. From here, decide whether you prefer to update apps one at a time or update them in bulk.
Step 3: If you want to update apps individually, tap an app you want to update to be taken to the store page. So hit the green”Update” button at the top of the page.
