Inverter Technology
The inverter is without a doubt the greatest invention in AC lately. The inverter compressor is basically the use of special BLDC motors which can vary the compressor speed depending on the need. In others words, compressors with integrated inverter can run at a different speed depending on the cooling requirement and not always at full speed. Scroll Inverter Compressor
Daikin is experimenting with the inverter scroll compressor. There are two scrolls, one fixed and the other orbits around the fixed through the swing link in models that come with this type of inverter compressor. During compression, the orbital scroll pushes the refrigerant to the center causing a reduction in the volume of gas. It is later discharged to the condenser using the central port. The biggest advantage of scroll compressors is that they require fewer moving parts and minimal torque variation.
