A little later than usual, Microsoft is releasing a new version of Windows 11 for Insiders today on the Dev Channel, increasing the build number to 25193. There isn’t much new in this version, but the highlight is the addition of the Xbox Management functionality for the Settings app.
This is what Microsoft has expanded on since the first release of Windows 11. We’ve already confirmed that the company will add support for Microsoft 365 subscriptions and its standalone OneDrive plans, and Xbox is now included here as well. However, if you go to Settings -> Account, you will find information about your current Xbox-related subscriptions, whether Xbox Game Pass for console, PC Game Pass, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Living Gold. can be displayed. Similar to Microsoft 365, you can see which payment method you’re using, how much you’re charged, and what benefits your plan includes. You can also manage recurring accounts and redeem prepaid codes or cards for subscriptions.
Additionally, Microsoft has also noticed improved support for braille displays and new braille input and output languages. New monitors supported include APH Chameleon, APH Mantis Q40 and NLS Reader. To take advantage of this improved support, you’ll need to uninstall and reinstall current braille support in the Settings app, but good news for anyone using these devices.
However, a feature was actually removed in this build. It’s the ability to share local files directly from OneDrive using Windows’ built-in sharing window. It was added in Build 25163, but Microsoft said it was removed based on feedback from Windows Insiders and hopes to bring it back once the functionality improves.
