Lenovo Phab Plus- Introduction
The Lenovo Phab Plus has just been released this October and basing on the details that have been shared, it looks like this Lenovo smartphone is a good midrange smartphone. It has all the possible features you may need in a smartphone to get by with your daily life, and it has a great pair of cameras as well.
Lenovo Phab Plus- Design
Design wise Lenovo Phab Plus looks and feels just as big as you’ll expect, though at 7.6 mm it’s impressively slim. Holding it in one hand to use as a phone is just impossible despite Lenovo’s claims that it’s “designed for one-handed use.” Another thing worth face out is just its incredible similarity to the iPhone 6 Plus. The overall look of the phone is that of a higher, slightly less premium iPhone 6 or a slightly tiny iPad mini. Appearance wise it’s nice, but it doesn’t do anything to stand out from the crowd.
The company has tweaked the Android software to pop up a smaller keyboard that close to one corner when to carry in one hand, as well as the ability to turn on the screen with a double tap and take a picture by pressing your finger down on the screen.
Lenovo Phab Plus- Display
Lenovo Phab Plus comes with the 6.8-inch screen, it is got a full HD resolution 1920 × 1080, and it looks quite bright and crisp. Although the larger screen would have seems unbelievable with a higher resolution, 1080pixel will suffice. The large display is ideal for people who like to stream video on their phones, read e-books or articles, draw, and play games.
Lenovo Phab Plus- Camera
The Lenovo Phab Plus comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera, and while it sounds decent, the quality I was able to get was not great, though admittedly that was not in the highest of lighting conditions. On the front, you get a 5-megapixel sensor, and as you can see above, one benefit of having such a large display is that framing selfies are much easier.
Lenovo Phab Plus- Processor & OS
The Lenovo Phab Plus runs the latest Android Lollipop v5.0 with a chipset of Qualcomm MSM8939 Snapdragon 615. It uses a GPU of Adreno 405 and a CPU of Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex A53 & Quad core 1.0 GHz Cortex A53.
Lenovo Phab Plus- Hardware
As for hardware, the Phab Plus has a relatively important specification sheet, given its price. The phablet is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 chip with 2 GB RAM and comes with 32 GB of internal storage. The re’s a 3,500 mAh battery to keeps thing ticking over.
Lenovo Phab Plus- Battery
Lenovo has managed to include a 3500 mAh battery into the PHAB Plus’s frame. Indeed, it’s a hefty capacity when we think about it, but we feel that it could have been greater considering its larger footprint over most smartphones. Alternatively, its normal performing attachment is made even more poignant in our battery benchmark test – where it performs an average performer mark of 6 hours and 41 minutes. And lastly, it takes 188 minutes to recharge the battery, which is okay for its capacity.
Lenovo Phab Plus- Verdict
Lenovo’s Phab Plus isn’t for the faint of heart. If you buy this large phone, you’ll have to be bold enough to take selfies with it, carry it in your bag, and hold it to your face when making phone calls. With a good metal construction, along with a satisfying specs sheet that’s worthy of the upper mid-range category, or we do have to say that the Lenovo Phab Plus is decently priced. Overall if you search a big screen size phone and thinking to try this so Lenovo Phab is The Best option for you.
