The X-Series of smartphones from Vivo are the company’s premium builds and are equipped with the most advanced hardware in all categories, particularly in the photography department. The V-Series are the next level down, and they almost give you a taste of what would be possible if you upgraded to an X model.
There is nothing inherently wrong with maintaining one’s position in the middle price bracket so long as one is aware of what to anticipate, and Vivo has displayed an amazing mastery of mobile photography. Even fewer people in North America are aware of this fact regarding its flagship products, much less their mid-range offerings. That anonymity in the West is not a part of this story.

Vivo V25 Pro review: Design

The Sailing Blue model we got for my review unit is eye-catching, with a finish and color that stand out no matter the time of day or weather. This is on purpose because the paint gets darker when it’s exposed to UV light, making it look more blue than its natural aqua or teal color. We didn’t realize it right away, though. We didn’t realize it until we saw that the color changed over time while we had it with me in the sun. You can buy this phone from its offcial website
Vivo V25 Pro: Display
The V25 Pro also has a few small improvements over its predecessor, like the new MediaTek Dimensity 1300 CPU, which is a slight update to the Dimensity 1200 and which we can’t wait to try out for ourselves. The V25 Pro also has a faster 120Hz screen, a bigger battery, and a faster charging system.
Vivo V25 Pro: Camera

Three cameras are on the back of the Vivo V25 Pro 5G. There is a main camera with OIS and 64 megapixels, an ultra-wide-angle camera with 8 megapixels, and a closeup camera with 2 megapixels and fixed focus. Selfies are taken with a 32-megapixel camera on the front that can aim. During the day, photos looked a bit sharp, but they had good clarity and a wide range of light and dark.
The colors were too bright and almost looked like they had been put through a filter. The pictures from the ultra-wide-angle camera were blurry and had a lot of purple spotting and barrel distortion. Not much was said about these, either.
Software Features
The 32MP front-facing camera is a standout, and it has some great software tools to back it up. It also has a great battery life, a beautiful screen, and good speed all around. Not everyone will like the way it looks, but it is well-made and even has a cool UV-reactive party trick to show off. But there are some bad things about it. We were disappointed by the amount of extra software and the fact that the ultrawide and closeup lenses were not very good. Depending on where you live, it might also be hard for you to get one.
Vivo V25 Pro: Performance
The Vivo V25 Pro got a multi-core score of 2709 and a single-core score of 854. The smartphone is driven by a chipset that can work with 5G. On the phone, I played some simple games. After about an hour, the phone gets a little warmer. The games, on the other hand, work well and don’t stutter. The phone has a good fingerprint reader built into the screen. The phone has some good features that make it easy to use, but the extra software can be annoying.
Vivo V25 Pro: Battery life
It’s possible that the Vivo V25 Pro doesn’t have the same dual-cell battery that allows the 65W OnePlus 9 to charge in roughly 30 minutes. With a capacity of 4830mAh, the Vivo V25 Pro falls barely short of the benchmark of 5000mAh.
However, we find that its battery life is on par with, if not better than, many 5000mAh smartphones. This could be due to the efficient operation of the Dimensity 1300 CPU, or it could be the result of the battery management becoming somewhat more active at the 30% charge level. For a radio streaming app I had to disable Vivo’s battery optimization so it wouldn’t shut down mid-play.

Final Words
If you can get the Vivo V25 Pro at the correct price and without having to pay excessive customs fees, it is a worthwhile investment due to its sophisticated design that features curved glass and a multifunctional camera.
Vivo V25 Pro review: the good and the bad
The Good
- Unique look and feel
- Solid battery life
The Bad
- Lots of bloatware
faqs
Vivo V25 is made with a MediaTek MT6877 Dimensity 900 processor, which fixed the overheating problem. Users can play graphically heavy games for several hours without overheating or performance problems.
The battery in the vivo V25 is 4,500mAh. The Dimensity 900 is a 6nm chip that is pretty efficient, and when combined with the AMOLED screen, it makes for a great battery life. In our tests, the vivo V25 lasted a total of 120 hours, which is great. It also did well in both off-screen and on-screen tests.
