How to run and use Amazon Appstore in Windows 11 – Guide
Microsoft has secured Android apps on Windows 11, and currently, it’s time to stream. They coordinated the Amazon Appstore through the Windows Subsystem for Android. The feature is now in beta and accessible to members of the Windows Insider Program. However, there is a workaround using which you can also install the Play Store which we will look at in final. We’ll cover everything you really want to get everything working and installing apps from the Amazon Appstore and Android on Windows right now.
You must meet some minimum requirements before installing the Amazon Appstore. If your computer does not meet these specifications, you will not be able to download it from the Microsoft Store. These requirements are different from the Windows 11 system requirements, so even if you can run the OS, you might not have the hardware to run Android apps. These are the app store requirements.
If you don’t meet any hardware requirements, you’ll need to update your device first. But if you don’t have the right virtual machine platform or you’re not in the right country, you can easily change it on your computer. To check your hardware specifications, press the Start Button and click Settings. Under System, scroll down until you find About. You should see your processor, installed RAM, system type under Device Specifications. Meanwhile, you can find the OS version under Windows specs.
If your operating system version is not the latest version, you can update it by going to Windows Update in the settings window. Once you’re there, click Check for updates and your computer will update itself automatically. To check if you have an SSD, go back to System. From there, click Storage > Advanced Storage Settings. In the menu that appears, choose Disks and Volumes. Look at your available disks and see if there is one marked SSD.
After that, you need to go back to the Settings window and choose Time & Language > Language & Region. Under Region, select Country or Region and choose United States from the drop-down menu. After completing this, you must ensure that Virtual Machine Platform is enabled. To do this, press the Windows key and type Control Panel. Click on the icon that will appear. In the Control Panel window, open Programs and Features. In the next window, click on Turn Windows features on or off. The Windows Features then will appear. Scroll down until you see Virtual Machine Platform. Make sure there is a checkmark next to it and press OK.
If you can’t see the Virtual Machine Platform option, see Microsoft’s detailed instructions on how to enable it. Finally, check the Microsoft Store app version. You can see your app version by clicking your profile icon and choosing App Settings. In the Application Settings window, look for About this application and check the version number. If it is not updated, go to the Library icon in the left column and click on the Get Updates button button at the top right corner.
