Because of my own personal experience with PushCrew, which is a push notification service that was established by Wingify, I can say with confidence that it is one of the push notification services that stands out as being among the simplest that are now available to users. It is undeniably a blessing that it possesses such a natural and easy-to-understand user interface, which makes utilizing it as a tool an uncomplicated process.
People commonly select PushCrew because of how simple it is to use; nevertheless, it is essential to keep in mind that this simplicity may result in a loss in the number of advanced functionalities that are offered. However, we will need to undertake a thorough assessment in order to determine whether or not PushCrew strikes the acceptable balance between user-friendliness and functionality.
Working with PushCrew has taught me that the user-friendliness of the service is a feature that truly stands out, but I’ve also learned how important it is to evaluate all of the features that are offered to ensure that they are suitable for your own requirements and objectives. Throughout my time working with PushCrew, I’ve discovered that the service’s user-friendliness is a characteristic that truly stands out. Now that we’ve established that, allow me to share with you some of my opinions and experiences so that you may make an informed decision about PushCrew.

What is VWO Engage?
VWO Engage is a lightweight engagement management software that helps businesses keep their visitors and customers in a smooth manner. Because of this platform, businesses are able to make use of modern channels and maintain the engagement of their site visitors through the use of automated marketing campaigns. Companies also have the option of utilizing Facebook messenger or online push alerts for this purpose.
VWO Engage review: Reports and segments
Only subscribers, unsubscribes, and total subscribers on a given date are shown. Adding a section for this information was unnecessary. They could have put it on the dashboard. Observe the note below the table stating that the information is refreshed every twelve hours. Thus, you cannot see live subscriber changes. Add more browser, OS, and other columns to the reports section to improve it. Every row contains date-specific data. Users can perform analytics for a certain interval by selecting the start and end date if they add this feature.
Compare two or more intervals and draw conclusions based on similarities and differences. Current report page is too simple and needs updating. In the segments area, click ‘create segment’. Before creating the first segment, no table exists. A table with the segment name, creation date, and number of subscribers appears when you create a segment.
VWO Engage review: Dashboard
You may have wondered if the dashboard is informative from the heading. Push notification overviews are available on the dashboard, but not thorough. Applications like PushEngage have analytics sections. No specific area provides performance data in Aimtell, but the dashboard does. We expected PushCrew to offer analytics features. When we couldn’t discover it, we checked the dashboard.
As shown in the illustration, total subscribers are listed on top. The blue-and-yellow donut graphic will appear below the total subscribers. The blue figure represents web subscribers who clicked allow on opt-in prompt and the yellow number represents mobile subscribers. More information is available here, including browser and OS subscriber counts. Only desktop and Android are listed.
Thus, we cannot confirm whether it provides iOS user data. They have not specified which operating systems ‘desktop’ refers to. Is Windows only? Both Windows and macOS? Is Linux too? This is not mentioned on the webpage. Data is presented for the entire travel. You cannot verify the same data for a specific day or custom dates. You can at least see daily subscribers and unsubscribes.
VWO Engage review: One-time Campaign
Push notifications immediately connect with consumers, therefore they must be engaging. Content, image, and title attract subscribers. Even if the push notification URL has high-quality, useful material, a user will only click on it if it is worth it. Thus, an app should include quirky, pleasant push notification aspects. In PushCrew, push notifications are created in two steps. First, add content, then campaign info. You can add a title with a character limit first.
The message also has a character restriction. This window has a clear input field for the landing page URL. Otherwise, you can add a picture and set its size. Up to two buttons can be added. Simply add button wording and landing page URL. This calls for action, making push notifications effective. Whatever we’ve found so far are basic features. More formatting options like font, background color, text color, etc. will improve PushCrew notification design.
Final Words
We mentioned PushCrew’s user interface was easy from the start. Its simplicity has drawbacks, especially usability. You can easily design opt-in prompts, audience segments, and push campaigns, but analyzing your vast data is difficult. Unfortunately, the report part lacks the depth needed to understand push notification performance.
This restriction has slowed our company’s growth. PushCrew’s opt-in prompts and push notifications have comparable restrictions during our testing. As mentioned previously, these capabilities limit your ability to alter font styles, sizes, and more. These limits can make it hard to personalize your messaging to your audience’s interests and branding.

Paras Chopra, an internet marketing expert, came up with the idea for Wingify, and VWO is the company’s most prominent offering. “to make website optimization tools which produce results without requiring a degree in rocket science” is Wingify’s primary mission statement. The Good
- Powerful push notification capabilities for user engagement.
- Personalized in-app messaging to enhance user experience.
- A/B testing for data-driven decision-making.
