The first Sims game released 17 years ago, and while we played it, we haven’t touched a Sims game in years. It was interesting to see how the essence of the game remained the same, but it evolved with time, and there is simply so much more to do now in the life of a Sim.
The Sims 4 is still about your characters’ daily lives. Just like in real life, you must feed and entertain them, find them work so they can earn money, ensure they rest, and, most importantly, allow them to socialise. It’s all part of the game to make new friends, fall in love, and have children. You are no longer restricted to your own home, as you can have your Sims explore different locations and socialise in public places.
The Sims 4 is a life simulation video game that allows players to create and control people, environments, other types of stuff, designs, and so on. You can freely experiment with your own level of creativity, humour, escape plans, and game play with family characters. However, it’s worth noting that many The Sims 4 PC players are experiencing problems with gameplay, game launching, or even game loading due to broken or duplicate mods/CC in the game file. Are you among them?
In fact, The Sims 4 as a whole feels diminished when compared to even the vanilla version of The Sims 3, before it had the benefit of add-ons that let you be a ghostbuster and live in high-rises. Much has already been said about the features that didn’t make the cut, but even if you don’t have a list of those features handy when you play, the narrowed scope is clear.
The Sims 4’s starting telescope, a monstrous beast that most amateur astronomers would kill to own, couldn’t fit, and I had to erect it on a public lot in front of the library. Previous Sims modders (and a Sims 2 expansion) had added microscopes to the mix, but we didn’t have room for the lab-quality colossus in The Sims 4. It wasn’t The Sims, as I’d grown accustomed to over the years.
Have you ever received an error message stating, “Unable to start. The game cannot be started because necessary game data is missing or damaged. “Please reinstall the game.” If so, you’ve come to the right place and you’re not alone. But don’t be concerned. We have a couple of tools that will scan and find all of the broken or duplicate CC in The Sims 4 quickly and accurately on your PC.
How to Find and Remove Broken CC in Sims 4
To easily repair broken or incorrect custom content in The Sims 4, use the Sims 4 Tray Importer from L’Univers Sims. It is a completely free download that is completely safe to use. The Sims 4 Tray Importer can be downloaded from the official website here.
This small application has changed the lives of Sims 4 players who use a lot of CC. It can assist you in quickly cleaning up a bad batch of broken custom content. You will be able to quickly delete any broken CC once you have installed The Sims 4 Tray Importer (which runs independently of your Sims game). It can even assist you in cleaning out your library if it has become overflowing. To begin, you must save a Sims 4 household with Sims dressed in the broken custom content.
Manually Delete CC Files One By One
Yes, the old “search and delete” method is still the most common way to locate and remove a damaged CC in Sims 4. Of course, for obvious reasons, this is the most difficult method. For starters, it takes an extremely long time. Furthermore, you may end up deleting all of your favourite mods and CC.
Find and remove broken CC using The Sims 4 Tray Importer
The Tray Importer is a Sims 4 software programme that helps you manage your CC. It enables you to add and download CC and mods. This is incredible. As you go through your CC and mods, it will tell you if any of the CC files are missing or broken. Following that, you will be able to remove the damaged files or search the internet for the missing parts (which will give you the names of the lost CC files).

History
The Sims 4 is a action game in which you can become enraged and poop into a toilet. It’s a game in which you can persuade someone to streak through their neighbourhood if you read a book about mischief for a long enough period of time. It’s a game with an option to shower in such a way that your Sim comes out feeling “flirty”.
The Sims 4 is the latest in the world-conquering virtual doll house series, a very unique set of perennial games that consistently arrive feature-light and skeletal, before fattening themselves up with varying quality downloadable content and expansion packs. They become grotesque and bloated beacons of abject corporate cynicism over the course of years, before finally shedding that gross pupa and emerging reborn and naked as another numbered sequel, stripped of all its fineries and ready to go all over again.
So there’s obviously a lot missing here. A lot of it is to be expected: pets never appear in the vanilla game and always appear around the first or second expansion pack. The clothing selection is adequate but generic, and the furniture options are particularly limited. There are only eight career options (the series now has over sixty), but once you reach a certain rank in your chosen profession, you can specialise in one of two ways. In the future, there will be more furniture, clothes, careers, and cats. That will all come later.
Some of what’s missing is less obvious and more vexing for series fans. Create-a-Style, which seemed like the right way to approach interior design in The Sims, is no longer available. The absence of swimming pools is the most perplexing and as-yet unexplained departure from previous games, as is the shift from having babies go through a toddler stage to instead evolving from crib to full-grown child in a single presumably hormone-filled day.
Gameplay
These particulars both positive and negative are critical because they are what you spend the majority of your time negotiating. The Sims 4 is not a difficult management game. To a large extent, it is about wish fulfilment, and while you will be asked to earn money, social standing, and career success in order to achieve those wishes, getting there is a matter of time rather than effort.
Every Sim has a lifetime ambition, which is selected at character creation and can be changed at any time just like in The Sims 3. This time around, the criteria are more complex, but it really just amounts to a longer list of things to do. Tell twenty jokes, write five books, and own a voodoo doll, among other things. Completing an ambition grants a variety of awards and special abilities.
Final Words
We hope like our article on How to Find and Remove Broken CC in Sims 4. Teen Sims’ experience is mostly what you’d expect from high school. Sims attend classes, socialise around their lockers and during lunch, and occasionally have to serve detention. After-school activities such as chess club and cheerleading are available, as are new side hustles for teens such as video game streaming and selling clothes on a thrift app.
