Left 4 Dead 2 is a multiplayer horror-themed survival video game that Valve Corporation released as a follow-up to Left 4 Dead. Only the Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows platforms were initially supported when the game was first released in 2009. Later, it was made available for the Linux and Macintosh operating systems. Despite the horror game’s favorable reviews, some players are complaining about Left 4 Dead 2’s low FPS drops on their gaming PCs and wanting performance to be improved. You’re not the only one who experiences frame rate drops and stutters during gameplay on your computer.
Left 4 Dead last year unleashed a gruesome and entertaining depiction of what it’s like to be on opposing sides of the zombie apocalypse. It was a tone of fun to play Left 4 Dead, whether you were shooting your way through swarms of infected on the way to a potential rescue or hatching plans with your fellow superpowered zombies to suffocate, eviscerate, and otherwise murder the courageous survivors. The only real drawback was the lack of content. Left 4 Dead 2 does not have this problem because it offers five new campaign maps that can be enjoyed in five different compelling game modes.

About the Gameplay
Like its predecessor, Left 4 Dead 2, this first-person shooter emphasizes multiplayer. Five completely new campaigns made up of three to five smaller levels each are introduced in the multiplayer game. Similar to the first game, each campaign is depicted as a movie starring the four Survivors in the menus and loading screens. A fake credits screen that represents the players’ final scoreboard and compiles their performance information is also included in each campaign. The majority of the levels in each campaign involve the survivors trying to reach a secure location before locking the door once everyone is inside.
However, the final level of each campaign requires the Survivors to call for assistance and then must either endure a protracted onslaught until assistance arrives, negotiate a particularly challenging Infected maze to reach an escape vehicle, or gather and use fuel cans to flee. A single survivor can carry all five types of equipment: primary weapons, secondary weapons, throwable weapons, major medical supplies, and minor medical supplies. Primary weapons are categorised into four tiers based on their availability and features. The first tier of offensive weapons are the most basic and deal relatively slow damage. More damaging weapons in Tier 2 frequently appear in later maps in each chapter.
The two tier three weapons differ from tier one and two weapons due to their scarcity and the inability for players to reload from ammunition dumps. They deal damage quickly and have limited ammunition. Tier 4 weapons are all mounted and have an unlimited ammo supply. The mounted weapons have the benefit of being quick to deal damage, but at the cost of overheating after a period of continuous use, becoming immobile, and being unable to engage an opponent from behind. The locations of the mounted weapons and their fixed arc of fire are predetermined on the maps.
